The PLUS in back protection: the LITESHIELD PLUS protector

The certified LITESHIELD PLUS protector (EN 1621-2) is the heart of the new PROTECTION WEAR vests, shirts and jackets. At merely 168 Gramms, this extremely light, preformed back protector offers excellent level-2 impact absorption properties. Its two-component sandwich construction consists of a combination of expanded Polypropylene (EPP) and a TPU carrier layer. The highly compressed, water repellent EPP foam provides the best possible protection for the thoracic spine, the lumbar spine and the coccyx. The side of the protector facing the back is constructed of plus shaped elements. The interjacent sections provide ventilation channels for perfect air circulation. Simultaneously, this segmentation offers flexibility in all directions: the individual protector elements of the back plate move independently. This lets them adapt to every movement and ensures improved protection and comfort by having the protector as close to the back as possible.

PROTECTOR JACKET PRO: for freeride adventures and park parties

The protector jacket with the brand new LITESHIELD PLUS back protector (EN 1621-2; level 2) offers maximum all-around protection as well as comfort by enabling full flexibility while it literally has riders’ backs. At a weight of merely 890 Gramms including the protector, it is one of the lightest protector jackets on the market. The adjustable AIRO FLEX straps keep the shoulder protectors (EN 1621-1; level 2) securely in place and can be easily operated even with gloves thanks to the FIDLOCK magnetic buckles. 3D chest protectors (EN 1621-3; level 1) made of viscoelastic soft foam protect the chest area and ensure optimal ventilation with their perforated design. Fully sewn in, perforated EVA pads in the collar, chest and shoulder areas, on the hips and the coccyx offer additional impact protection.
The PROTECTOR JACKET PRO made of flexible Lycra-Jersey fits like a second skin and can be opened easily via a flexible frontal-lateral YKK zipper, rendering an additional hip belt unnecessary. An anti-slip silicone structure on the inside of the waist band prevents the jacket from slipping upwards, while flat and welded seams in the sleeves prevent friction. The main material is equipped with POLYGIENE Odor Crunch© which prevents nasty smells caused by bacteria. The sides and the sections under the arms have incorporated AIR MESH which provides perfect ventilation, even when the heat is on. The protectors can be removed, so the jacket is machine-washable at 30°C.

The performance-oriented, black PROTECTOR VEST LITE MEN or WOMEN made of flexible Lycra-Jersey is as athletic as its cut. The height-adjustable (8 cm), comfortable and flexible AIRO FLEX hip belt with anti-stick Velcro keeps the LITESHIELD PLUS back protector (EN 1621-2, level 2) securely in place. The lightweight, preformed EPP back protector offers excellent damping properties and, thanks to its length, protects almost the entire spine, while supplying perfect ventilation. Integrated, perforated EVA pads on the neck and coccyx areas offer additional protection. An anti-slip silicone structure on the inside prevents the vest from slipping upwards. PROTECTOR SHIRT: fully equipped without a backpack

The shirt with its athletic cut has a removable LITESHIELD PLUS back protector (EN 1621-2; level 2) and protects back, chest as well as shoulders while simultaneously functioning as a backpack replacement: it hast extra pockets for a hydration bladder and tools, etc.
While the long and light back protector provides safety in the back, firmly sewn-in shoulder protectors (EN 1621-1; level 2) and EVA chest pads offer protection in the front. The hydration bladder can be inserted into a mesh compartment on top of the back protector, while the hose is partially routed on the interior and can be mounted in the right shoulder area. Tools and other essential smaller parts can be stored and easily reached with one hand in the two-compartment tool pocket attached to the coccyx area.
The flexible, breathable and quick-drying Lycra makes the athletically cut shirt especially comfortable to wear. In order to prevent nasty smells caused by bacteria, the material is equipped with POLYGIENE Odor Crunch©. AIR MESH inserts under the arms, on the sides and in the lower back area ensure optimal ventilation. CRASH PANTS (PAD): special protection for your rear end

EVOC offers two variations of protection for your backside and hips: the Lycra-Jersey CRASH PANTS PAD are specifically designed for biking and are equipped with an integrated chamois pad, sewn-in, lateral hip protectors (EN 1621-1; level 1), pads for the outer thighs and the coccyx as well as a comfortable waist band and flat seams to prevent friction. They are machine-washable and also treated with POLYGIENE Odor Crunch © to prevent nasty smells.
The CRASH PANTS with polyester upper material are ideal for the use in snow, also available in kids-specific sizing and do not require the chamois.
